Captain Aaron

With a lifetime of experience fishing Casco Bay from the Royal River to the Fore River and the Back Bay, Capt. Aaron Landry offers anglers a full tour of tributaries, flats and beaches, as well as the rocky shores of Cape Elizabeth and the many islands located off Portland. Anglers can expect a highly visual experience fishing in shallow water, often spotting the fish before casting. From years of angling in the waters of Casco Bay, Capt. Aaron has a deep knowledge of the striped bass population that migrates into the Gulf of Maine each year.

What to expect

Charters can start at any time, however, because Stripers are most active during low light conditions, we typically leave from Portland Harbor at 5:30 a.m. Midday charters are better for sight fishing, but the conditions can be challenging. Alternative Southern Maine fishing locations can be explored. Capt. Aaron tailors the trip around anglers’ desires as well as weather, tide schedules, and migration status of fish. Charters will primarily focus on striped bass. Other species can be targeted upon request. Anglers are provided rods, reels, and tackle for all fishing situations. If anglers are interested, they may bring their own outfit and tackle.  The boat will be stocked with a cooler of ice, Gatorade, and water. Rates are for 2 to 3 anglers on the Aquasport and up to 6 on the Albin (licenses included) . 25% deposit required to hold date.

17’ Aquasport

This is the perfect skiff for the shallow water fishing we specialize in. We fish Colton fly rods/reels and custom spinning rods with Diawa and Shimano reels. All flies are tied by Capt. Aaron.

28’ Kris Ann

The Albin 28 TE is a much larger vessel. It can accommodate up to 6 passengers. Perfect for inshore bait fishing, offshore jigging, and cruising, the Albin is a comfortable and seaworthy craft.

Cancellation Policy

If we cancel a trip at any time due to weather or sea conditions and we are unable to reschedule with you, we will refund your deposit. If you cancel with 14 days notice, we will refund your deposit; under 14 days notice your deposit can be extended to a future trip.
